Borderland State Park

Located on the border of Sharon and Easton, Borderland State Park was the home of a prominent Massachusetts family; the Ames family. In the early 1900s the family bought a lot of small farm to conserve the land for their kids and their grandkids to enjoy. In 1971, Borderland became a state park for the people of Massachusetts to enjoy. Today, all 1700 acres are preserved and protected by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.

Fundraise, participate, volunteer or donate: however you help this cause, you will be making a difference. The namesake of this scholarship warmed many hearts and inspired many smiles. By participating in any aspect, you will be doing the same, you will be affecting others by providing students a scholarship to pursuit their dreams and aspirations.

Join us at Borderland State Park for a 5K run or walk fundraiser. Explore natures beauty at the beginning of the Fall season as you run/walk the pond walk trail. We will be starting and ending at the historic Ames Mansion. (please note: there is a $2.00 per car parking fee at the park)

We are making this into a full event! After we walk/run join us behind the mansion for some food, raffles, music and more, so plan to bring some cash with you if you would like to participate. Lets have some fun together! Hope to see you there!
